Research on accurate direction finding method of vortex electromagnetic wave radio proximity sensor

Abstract

Iming at the demand of the new generation of air defense missile directional warhead for accurate detection of short-range targets, this paper studies the accurate direction finding method of vortex electromagnetic wave radio proximity sensor. Based on the working principle of pulse Doppler system, the mathematical model of vortex electromagnetic wave radio proximity sensor is established; On this basis, the vortex echo signal is approximately deformed to construct the guidance vector matrix and the received signal model. The rotation invariant propagation operator algorithm is used to estimate the target azimuth, and the performance of the algorithm is verified by Monte Carlo simulation experiment. The results show that this method can achieve accurate direction finding under the condition of low signal-To-noise ratio and few array elements.
