The School of Economics has a well-established academic layout in the field of economics, with doctoral programs in two primary disciplines: Theoretical Economics and Applied Economics. It also offers interdisciplinary doctoral programs in Energy and Climate Economics, and in National Economic Mobilization Studies. Additionally, there is a postdoctoral mobile station in Applied Economics. The strengths of Theoretical Economics and Applied Economics complement each other, and emerging interdisciplinary fields are developing rapidly. At the undergraduate level, the school offers three majors: Economics, International Economics and Trade, and Financial Technology. Economics, and International Economics and Trade are both designated as "National First-Class Undergraduate Major Construction Sites."
