摘要

The coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is a crucial national strategy for China, and energy plays a fundamental role in achieving this coordination. In response to China's “dual carbon' goals and the economic and environmental challenges in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, characterized by an unreasonable industrial layout and persistent high consumption of fossil fuels, we have constructed a unified model for optimizing energy decarbonization pathways and obtained the optimal energy decarbonization pathways for different scenarios in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Finally, we conducted a quantitative assessment of the economic and environmental impacts associated with these pathways. Some research findings are as follows: The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region will primarily rely on solar and wind power. Wind power capacity will peak after reaching a certain stage of development, while solar capacity will continue to grow. In scenarios with low energy consumption, the region's dependence on external energy sources will decline year by year. Throughout the planning period, the construction cost of renewable energy remains a significant portion of the overall cost. In scenarios with rapid technological progress, there is greater fluctuation in economic and environmental impacts. The study's conclusions offer a fresh perspective and recommendations for selecting energy decarbonization pathways in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
