摘要

Lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) are important energy storage devices that are widely used in various fields. 2D metalloid organic frameworks (MetOFs) comprised of metalloid coordination nodes exhibited high specific surface and intrinsic ion conductivity. In this study, a series of 2D MetOFs-modified polypropylene (PP) separators have been prepared including SiOF@PP and GeOF@PP separators. The modified separators can homogenize the lithium ions (Li+) flux and facilitate the uniform deposition of Li+ on lithium metal. The LiFePO4 (LFP) half-cell with GeOF-modified PP separators exhibits higher Coulombic efficiency and enhanced cycling stability than the SiOF-modified ones. Additionally, the Li symmetric cell with GeOF-modified PP separators demonstrates a high Li+ transference number, excellent cycling stability, and extended life span. These findings hold great potential for designing future modified separators and high-performance LIBs.
