摘要
Rechargeable magnesium batteries (RMBs) have attracted great attention as the most promising next-generation energy storage devices, but is short of the capable cathode materials. Herein, CuTe nanoribbons are fabricated by microwave-assisted synthesis as the conversion-type cathode materials for RMBs. The formation of CuTe nanoribbons is a kinetically controlled process. CuTe nanoribbons show typical redox behaviors in electrochemical magnesium storage process with high initial and maximum capacities of 274.3 and 390.8 mAh g−1.
