A Polarization Anti-Jamming Method Based On Squint Projection

Abstract

This paper presents a practical active suppression jamming suppression scheme to enhance the radar's capability in detecting and tracking targets under countermeasures, thereby improving its anti-jamming performance. For a horizontal/vertical dual-receiver polarization radar system, we propose a parameter estimation method based on the maximum likelihood of the polarization coherence matrix. This method is capable of simultaneously estimating the polarization parameters of both jamming and target signals. Subsequently, we introduce a polarization domain filtering method utilizing squint projection transformation, which effectively preserves the target echo signal without compromising its amplitude and phase, while suppressing jamming. The efficacy of this jamming suppression technique is verified through field-measured data.
