Xiao Deqiang, male, born in Xinyang, Henan Province in December 1989, Ph.D., has been a pre-appointed assistant professor/Special associate Researcher at the School of Optoelectronics, Beijing Institute of Technology since October 2021. He has been engaged in teaching and scientific research in the field of computer-assisted medicine for a long time, and his main research directions include computer-assisted intervention/surgery, medical image processing, computer vision, machine/deep learning, etc. He has published more than 20 papers in IEEE TBME, Physics in Medicine & Biology, IEEE JBHI, Medical Physics, MICCAI and other international journals and conferences, including 10 first author papers. He has been invited to give oral presentations at the International Conference on Computer-Assisted Intervention and Surgery (CARS). Participated in and completed a number of provincial and ministerial level projects, authorized 4 invention patents. He has been a reviewer for many international journals and conferences, including IEEE TMI, IEEE TBME, IEEE JBHI, MICCAI, etc.
